Description
Laurens District 55 is searching for a Middle School Band Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The position is for 215 days plus a stipend. The position serves the Gray Court-Owings and Hickory Tavern Middle Schools. We are searching for an energetic candidate to grow the program. Both campuses have extremely supportive administrators who want to see the program grow and thrive. Duties would include helping with summer band , after school marching band rehearsals, attending football games, and chaperoning as needed for other band events. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university.
Certification as required by the state of South Carolina in the field of assignment. (K-12 Music - Instrumental)
Other professional and personal qualifications as deemed necessary for acceptable fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.
