Description
The Dutch Fork High School Marching Band is looking for a Guard Instructor for the 2024-2025 Marching Band season and Winter Guard season. Interested applicants would need to be available for band camp, after school rehearsals, Saturday camps and competitions. There is also a year long Guard class in the schedule. The Dutch Fork Marching Band has been a top 10 4A state finalist for the last 10 years and we are looking to grow our guard program. We are looking to hire someone before the start of our auditions and spring training in May. Dutch Fork High School is located 25 minutes outside of Columbia.
Requirements
Previous experience teaching guard is preferred and experience writing choreography is also preferred but not required. Applicants must pass a background check with the school district and apply for the Band Assistant position when it becomes available.
