Description
Bamberg County is now searching for a qualified candidate to fill the Band Director position for the 2024-2025 school year. This position includes teaching 6th grade beginner band at Richard Carroll Elementary School, 7th grade and 8th grade band classes at Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle School, and high school band class at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. While our marching band program took a step back from the competitive field this past season to focus on performances at football games, we have a rich history of excellence in the 1A field. Currently, our district is prioritizing the overall music program, but there is growing interest among students to return to competitive marching in the future. The band has recently acquired brand new marching band uniforms and a plethora of new marching instruments.
