Description

The Latta High School Marching Vikings is looking for an assistant band director for the 2024 season. Assistant band director would assist the band director during camp and rehearsals, and would work with the hornline on marching and playing skills alike. The Marching Vikings is a 1A band that placed 4th last season at Lower State. We are currently rebuilding our program and numbers, and are striving for growth in the upcoming years.

Requirements

Has marching band experience- preference in brass.

Is skilled in marching technique and understands how to achieve qualities of a well-executed marching show.

Is able to attend band camp in July as well as rehearsals and competitions from August-October.
