South Carolina All-State Double Reed Workshop, Saturday, December 1, from 10:30-4:30 at the USC School of Music. Check-in and walk-in registration begins at 10 am.
The All-State Double Reed Workshop features master classes on the 2018-19 All-State etudes at each level, games to reinforce all-state terms, and workshops on breathing, audition preparation and sight-reading. Each participant will have the opportunity to do a mock audition and receive individual feedback. Activities are led by Dr. Rebecca Nagel, professor of oboe, and Dr. Michael Harley, professor of bassoon. Tracy Leenman of Musical Innovations will be here with music and accessories.
