Merriwether Middle School, located in the supportive and close-knit Edgefield County School District, is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Band Director for the 2025–2026 school year!This is a thriving program with approximately 90 students and strong momentum for continued growth. Recent highlights include:
- The 8th Grade Band earning an Excellent rating at SCBDA CPA
- Six students selected for SCBDA Region Band
This position includes a stipend and extended contract days to assist with the high school marching band. As an added bonus, I’m able to collaborate and team-teach at the middle school throughout the year, offering a unique layer of support and continuity.
