Description
The Wren High School Band is currently looking for a front ensemble instructor for the fall and winter seasons for the 2026-2027 school year. Wren has been a competitive 3A Band Program and has recently been bumped to 4A in the last reclassification. This instructor's responsibility will be to continue the tradition of excellence in percussion by leading sectionals, developing mallet technique, building a strong community, and collaborating with the rest of the staff. In the Winter, the instructor will be expected to staff with the district Winter Ensemble, Trilogy Independent. This ensemble combines percussion students from all three ASD1 high schools and has finished in first place in their class (PIA) at CWEA Championships for the last 5 years.
Requirements
High School Diploma
Must be available for two and a half weeks at the end of July for Summer Band Camp.
Must be available on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:45-6:30 PM and on Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00 PM for rehearsals.
Must be available Saturdays in September and October for competitions.
