Dear Colleagues,
By now you are all aware of the loss of a true giant in our profession. Eddie Shealy was a beloved teacher, mentor, and friend to so many of us. His years of service on the Executive Board, passion for teaching, and love of music should serve as an inspiration for us all.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 4:00 PM at the Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church in Newberry, SC. A visitation reception take place in the Fellowship Hall following the service. The burial will be private. There is also a Celebration of Life planned for Monday, Oct. 9 at 7:00 PM in the Charleston area. Details will be shared via social media.
