Band directors, please think about former students who have graduated but remain in the southern Upstate or western Midlands, especially those attending a community college, technical college, or another school without a music program.
PC SYNC stands for Selected Youth (16+), Neighbors, and Collegians. It brings together PC students, alumni, music educators, area musicians, and selected younger musicians. Presbyterian College students remain at the center of every ensemble.
This is not an effort to pull current students away from their school programs. School commitments should remain their first priority. Selected musicians age 16 and older may be considered with their director’s support.
ENSEMBLES AT PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE

Wind Ensemble: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:45 to 6:00 p.m.

Jazz Band: Tuesdays, 6:15 to 8:00 p.m.

Chamber Orchestra: Thursdays, 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. (violin, viola, cello, and bass only)
There may also be an opportunity for selected wind and percussion musicians to participate in Christmas at PC after marching band season.
Presbyterian College is located in Clinton near I-26 and I-385, less than 40 minutes from Greenwood, Ninety Six, Newberry, Laurens, southern portions of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Union counties, and communities west of Chapin.
Interested musicians should complete the short PC SYNC Interest Form. Final placement is selective and based on ensemble needs.
