Winthrop University is now accepting student nominations for the 45th Annual Winthrop University Invitational Band Clinic (IBC), taking place November 19–21, 2026.
This year’s clinic will feature two outstanding guest clinicians, Dr. Rebecca Phillips and Mr. Martin Dickey. The Invitational Band Clinic provides selected students with an exciting and rewarding opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside talented young musicians from throughout the region. There is no cost to participating students or their directors.
Band directors are invited to nominate students through Winthrop University’s online nomination process. Directors are encouraged to submit nominations by the September 25 deadline and give their students the opportunity to participate in this special musical experience at Winthrop University.
