This weekend, the South Carolina Band Directors Association will celebrate the accomplishments of our students and directors at our annual All-State Band Clinic. You can find a detailed schedule on Bandlink or by clicking here. Several of our colleagues will provide informational clinics and workshops while students are rehearsing. Please reach out to Mark Yost if you plan to participate in the jazz reading session on Saturday.
As a reminder, all participating schools must check-in upon arrival before being seated in McAlister auditorium. Furman University recently revised its mask policy – masks are now optional in all buildings.
Our annual General Meeting for directors will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM in Daniel Recital Hall. Please make your attendance a priority at this critical meeting for our association. In addition to committee elections and association business, we will take a group picture at some point during the clinic weekend (weather permitting). We will update you on the picture location and time and share more information through the All-State REMIND Group and our SCBDA Facebook Group page.
