SCBDA Colleagues:
In an abundance of caution for our members in light of the pending hurricane and potential evacuations beginning on Saturday, the SCBDA Fall Meeting has been canceled. This decision to cancel is consistent with other SCMEA Divisions with planned events this weekend.
Committee members, your chairman will be in touch concerning committee agenda items that need to be shared.
The results of the marching band performance draw will be available on Bandlink by 3:00PM on Saturday. Along with the results, a video of the draw will be posted for verification and proof of authenticity. The actual draw will occur at 1:45PM in the Pickens High School Band Room. Anyone who is in the area and would like to come and witness the draw is more than welcome to come see it live. It should take about twenty minutes.
As always, the safety of our members and others involved in our events is our number one concern, and we will always err on the side of caution. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding.
