Description
Carolina High School & Academy Trojan Bands in Greenville, SC is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Percussion Instructor. This is a rapidly growing but young band program at a Title I school made up of students at all levels from beginner to intermediate. Individual will be responsible for helping the Band Director and other staff to design and implement percussion specific curriculum across all aspects of the band program including but not limited to Front Ensemble for marching band, Concert Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Band rhythm section, and Pep Band Drum-line. Minimum time commitment requires all of summer band camp (dates TBD) and weekend competitions. Other dates could include spring training, Friday night football games, weekly after school rehearsals, and/or off season clinics as needed. Schedule can be flexible with individual’s rehearsal and performance requirements if instructor is in college ensemble(s). Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Compensation to be determined based on experience.
