Description
Spring Valley High School in Columbia, SC is currently seeking a Percussion Instructor for the 2023 Marching Band Season. This position will work with the rest of the Marching Band Staff with the primary focus of teaching and assisting all percussion students. This includes marching drum line, front ensemble, and drum line for stands tunes. Applicants must be able to commit to Summer Band Camp (mid-July - August 7) and Competitions, with the expectation that they will attend after school rehearsals and Friday Football games when able. After school rehearsals will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:15-6:45. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience, but it is not required. Compensation will determined based on experience and is competitive with the area.
