Description

The Irmo High School Marching Band is seeking a variety of technicians for the 2023 marching band season. Pay will be based on education and experience. Schedule: - 2 ½ weeks of band camp beginning the last week of July comprised of the following: ½ Week (W, Th, F) Half Days: Percussion Camp, Guard Camp, and Beginners Camp - 2 Weeks (M - F) 12 Hour Days: Standard full band camp - After-school rehearsals (M, Tu, Th) from 4PM - 6:30PM - Saturday competitions – All Day Positions Needed: - Front ensemble technician - Battery technician - Low brass technician - High brass technician - Woodwind technician - Visual technician - Guard technician Requirements: - Applicants must have availability for the totality of band camp and after-school rehearsals - 4 years of experience as a performing member preferred - 1 year of previous experience as a staff member preferred - Individuals pursuing a music degree or minor are preferred
