Description

The Newberry High School Band is looking for a colorguard director for the 2022-2023 school year. Applicants should have experience in administering a guard program, including show, costume, choreography design, teaching dance, equipment technique, recruiting, and the ability to develop and maintain a budget. Newberry High School is located in Newberry, SC, about 45 minutes Northwest of Columbia, South Carolina.

Requirements

• Teaching certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of effective instructional techniques for beginners through advanced students
• Previous Fall and winter teaching experience required
• Satisfactory SLED background check
