effort, for the years of highest caliber teaching that have become the standard in our
state," said Scott Peck, Pecknel's president. "For almost 40 years Pecknel Music
Company has been involved with school music programs all over the state of South Carolina.

organization." After the performance autographed and framed copies of the first page
of the score were presented to SCBDA and to the Furman University Band Department. Pecknel Music Company has been a solid force in the music industry in South Carolina for nearly 40 years. The company was founded in Greenville in 1959 by George Peck, a retired band director. Because of the company's long-standing commitment to school music programs, it has been known since its founding as "The Music Education Company." George Peck's grandson, Scott Peck, became company president in 1987. |
