Doug Shaw Stadium
at
Myrtle Beach High School

Coming from the Florence area

Take US 76E from Florence toward Marion. Take the Bypass 576 around Marion until you merge into US 501S.
Continue on 501S until you pass through Aynor. To avoid the often heavy traffic going into Myrtle Beach, take Highway 22 which is about 4 miles past Aynor. You will be heading toward North Myrtle Beach. Continue on 22(about 20 miles) until you intersect with Highway 31, which will take you back toward Myrtle Beach. Continue on 31 until you get to the Robert Grissom parkway exit. As you continue on Robert Grissom for about three miles you will drive right to the entrance roads of Myrtle Beach High School. Parents going to the stadium should go past the high school and turn left on 29th Avenue North. When you get to next intersection, turn left onto Oak Street. You will see the entrance to Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium on the left at Pepper-Geddings Recreation Center.

Coming from Charleston area

Travel on Highway 17 until you get to the Murrell's Inlet area where you will then get on Bypass 17N. Follow 17N until you get to 29th Avenue North where you turn right in between the Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood. Continue on 29thN and at the second traffic light turn right onto Robert Grissom Parkway. You will immediately see Myrtle Beach High School on your right. Parents attending should not turn onto Robert Grissom but continue on 29N until they reach Oak Street. Turn left on Oak and proceed about two blocks turning left beside the Pepper-Geddings Recreational Center. The stadium is behind the recreation center.

Since the parking area at Doug Shaw Stadium is often crowded because of other events going on simultaneously with our contest, parents may wish to park in the Myrtle Beach High School parking lot in front of the school. To do this, you just follow the directions for the bus parking and then follow the signs.
