Greenwood, South Carolina

If you are coming from Augusta:

  1. From Augusta, take Hwy 25 all the way to Greenwood.
  2. IN GREENWOOD: Hwy 25 turns into S. Main Street. Stay on this road through the old part of the town for about 3 miles. Lander University will be ahead of you on the right. Look for the Jeff's Grill sign and make a right turn at the flag entrance to Lander.
  3. Turn left at the 2nd stop sign.
  4. Travel about 100 yards then turn right into the traffic circle in between the Cultural Center and the Horne Arena.
  5. Drop students off here and you will be directed to bus parking.
     

If you are coming from Lexington, SC:

   1.  From Lexington, take Hwy 378 to Saluda.
   2.  From Saluda take Hwy 178 into Greenwood
   3.  IN GREENWOOD: Turn right at the stop sign and follow S. Main Street through the old part of the town for about 3 
        miles. Lander University will be ahead of you on the right. Look for the Jeff's Grill sign and make a right turn at the
        flag entrance to Lander.
   4.  Turn left at the 2nd stop sign.
   5.  Travel about 100 yards then turn right into the traffic circle in between the Cultural Center and the Horne Arena.
   6.  Drop students off here and you will be directed to bus parking.
 


If you are coming from Columbia, SC:

  1. From Columbia, take I-26 West towards Spartanburg.
  2. Travel approximately 35 miles until you see signs for Newberry.
  3. Take Exit #76 (Hwy. 219)
  4. Turn left onto Hwy. 219-South and go across overpass towards Newberry. (approx. 3 miles, you will pass Newberry High School on your right)
  5. Turn left at 2nd traffic light.
  6. Turn right at 2nd light. (Ford car dealership will be on the left).
  7. You’ll go through another traffic light, then stop at the next traffic light.
  8. Turn left onto Hwy. 34 (SIGN: Greenwood 37 miles).
    Follow Hwy 34 for approx. 6 miles.
  9. Shortly after that, Hwy 34 will fork to the right.
  10. Continue following Hwy 34 until you reach the city of Greenwood.
  11. IN GREENWOOD: Turn right at the stop sign and follow S. Main Street through Uptown Greenwood for about 3 miles. You’ll see two Eckerd Pharmacy's on the left  Look for the second Eckerd Pharmacy and Lander University will be ahead of you on the right. Look for the Jeff's Grill sign and  make a right turn on Crews Street at the flag entrance to Lander.*
  12. Turn left at the 2nd stop sign.
  13. Travel about 100 yards then turn right into the traffic circle in between the Cultural Center and the Horne Arena.
  14. Drop students off here and you will be directed to bus parking.
     

If you are coming from Greenville, SC:

  1. From S. Pleasantburg Road (Hwy 291) from Greenville until it merges into
    Augusta Road (Hwy 25 South).
  2. Follow Hwy 25 South all the way to Greenwood (approximately 50 miles).
  3. IN GREENWOOD: You will come to an intersection where you will see a Walgreen's Pharmacy on the left and an Exxon Station on the right.  Go through this intersection.  Travel approximately 1 mile (3 lights) until you see Jeff's Grill on the left.  Lander's entrance will be immediately after that on the left.
  4. Turn left on Crews Street.
  5. Turn left at the 2nd stop sign.
  6. Travel about 100 yards then turn right into the traffic circle in between the Cultural Center and the Horne Arena.
  7. Drop students off here and you will be directed to bus parking.
