SENIOR ETUDES

Clarinet:  Sixteen Grand Solos / Bonade / Southern // Page 37, “Canzonetta”; begin at second measure of line 4 and play to end, Dotted-Quarter Note = 60.

Low Clarinet:  Advanced Studies from the works of Weissenborn / Rhoads / Southern // Page 7, #11, play first 6 lines, No repeats, “Andante,” Quarter Note = 84, “Allegro Scherzando,” Quarter Note = 168.

Alto/Baritone Saxophones:  Sonata Opus 19 / Creston // 2nd movement, Play measures 8-14, Quarter Note = 56; 3rd movement, Play from beginning to measure 39, Quarter Note = 144. (There is also an incorrect rhythm in some editions of the saxophone part in measure 23 of the 3rd movement. The rhythm should read as follows: eighth-note, four 16th-notes, eighth-note.)

French Horn:  Lyrical Studies for Trumpet or Horn / Concone (copyright 1972) // Page 20, #20, stop at the eighth rest in the third measure of line 6, Quarter Note = 100 (You may also find this etude in a newer edition of the same book (copyright 1972/1999), stop at the eighth rest in the second measure of line 7.)
