All-State Bands Concert | ||
|
All students attending the All-State concert will need to be pre-registered this year. Directors should have received a copy of the registration form in the mail. These need to be email to Joe Meshach or Faxed to him at 843-538-8151 by February 16, 2007 . There is NO registration fee. Alternates must be registered in order to participate in the clinic. If you do not have a registration form, then Click here. Alternates will need to go to the assigned rehearsal areas for their level when they arrive after they pickup their name tags. Any alternates not seated in the Band will attend a Smart Music workshop as well as a Rhythm Masters Class. Alternates must be registered for the clinic in order to participate in the scheduled activities and receive OPA points. Click here for a map of Greenville and directions to Furman University. DO NOT park in front of the auditorium. The concert will be audio recorded as well by Ingram Innovations. CDs and tapes may be purchased in the auditorium lobby before or after the concert. All-State band medals will be given to all registered band students during rehearsals. This includes alternates. The patches will be sold in the auditorium lobby during breaks and before the concert for $3.25 each. All-State Band T-shirts will be sold again this year by Helen Culp of Culp-Craft. You may purchase this music for 50% of the original cost! Payment is expected at the time of purchase. Make checks payable to SCBDA. Students should bring all of their equipment; extra reeds, valve oil, slide oil, cork grease, sticks, mallets, mutes, etc... |
