REGISTRATION
Directors are to pre-register their students for the
region clinic. This is to be done by February 11, 2005.
Registration can be emailed or faxed to me. (

or 843-821-3992) The
registration fee is $6.00 per student. Alternates must be registered
and pay the fee in order to participate in the clinic.
ALTERNATES
Alternates will need to go to the assigned rehearsal areas for their
level (Clinic or Senior) when they arrive after they pickup their name
tags. After lunch, any alternates not seated in the Region Band
will attend a Master Class.
On Saturday, alternates have the option to attend rehearsals, but they must
be here for the entire day on Friday in order for your school to receive
their OPA Points.
DIRECTIONS
The West Ashley High School Campus is located off of 526-Mark
Clark towards Savannah, Exit 61 North, Ashley River Road.
Please use the far left lane to park vehicles. DO NOT
park in the bus loop by the Bandroom, as your vehicle will be towed
away. Parents may
use the bus loop after 7:30am to drop off their children only.
Parents may also use the bus loop after 6:00pm to pick up their
children.
RECORDINGS
The 2005 Southern Region Band concert will be recorded
again this year. Brochures for this recording will be given
out on breaks and the CDs and tapes may be purchased in the common's
area before or after the concert.
MEDALS, PATCHES AND T-SHIRTS
Parents may purchase Region Band PATCHES in the commons
area before the concert. The cost is $3.25 each. T-Shirts will be sold as well.

INFORMATION Students should bring all of their
equipment; extra reeds, valve oil, slide oil, cork grease, sticks,
mallets, mutes, etc... The West Ashley High School dining
facilities WILL NOT be available to our students. Please make
arrangements to have students eat elsewhere. The bandroom will be
available to those students that choose to bring their meal. |
