Dear Band Director,
The Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School Orange Pride Band Booster Association would like to extend to you an invitation to the annual Garden City Classic. We are confident that our facilities and panel of judges will offer your band many unique opportunities.
After years of success, our parents, school, and community would like to continue our tradition of quality for this year's classic. We believe that our judging panel will rival those of national level competitions.
Our Classic will be held on
Saturday, October 7, 2006, at the Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School Bruin
Stadium, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Enclosed you will find information on
the Garden City Classic and an entry form.
The entry fee is $45.00 and the deadline is Friday, September 15,

SPONSOR: Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School Band Boosters Association
CLASSES: Bands will be assigned to one of four classes according to horn size.
AWARDS: First, second and third place in each class as well as, Superior, Excellent and Quality awards. Awards will also be given for Best Drum Major, Best Percussion, Best Color Guard, and Best Horn Line in each Class and an Overall Award. The overall awards will be determined by the total of Music, Marching, and General Effect scores.
