Stadium
The North Augusta High School Stadium has been host to the SCBDA Marching Band Championships and is one of the finest stadiums in the state. The stadium is built in a natural bowl adjacent to the school. Excellent warm-up and dressing facilities will be provided. NA Band Boosters will provide a variety of foods, snacks, sweets, and drinks in our concession stands.
Registration
Registration Deadline: September 15, 2006
Registration Fee: $75.00
Classification
Bands will enter according to their classification with the High School League or according to their horn line size:
Division I 0-25 horns
Class A 26-40 horns
Class AA 41-55 horns
Class AAA 56-70 horns
Class AAAA 71+ horns
White Division - Division I / Class A / Class AA
Gold Division – Class AAA / Class AAAA
Awards
Festival Trophies will be awarded for: Superior, Excellent, and Good Ratings.
Contest Trophies will be awarded for: First, Second, & Third Place, Best Horn Line, Best Drum Line, Best Colorguard, and Best Drum Major.
A GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY will be presented to the highest scoring band in the White and Gold Divisions, using the Music, Marching, and General Effect Scores.
The STAR Spirit Award will be awarded to the band that portrays the true spirit of competition while showing honor, respect, and dignity to themselves and others.
Adjudication
Bands will be judged using the SCBDA Adjudication System, but our own rating system will be employed. 400 points will be allotted for Music, 300 points for Marching, and 300 points for General Effect

Time Limits
Bands will have 15 minutes to enter the field, perform a short warm-up, perform their festival/contest routine, and exit the field. Festival/Contest routines must be a minimum of 6 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes.
