GENERAL INFORMATION
RULES Show length should be 5 to 10 minutes long. Bands will be scheduled in 20 minutes intervals. No penalty will be assessed to any band electing not to perform their entire drill. AWARDS First, Second, and Third place will be given in each class as well as, Superior, Excellent, and Quality awards. Awards will be given for Best Horn Line 1st-2nd, Best Drum Major 1st-2nd, Best Drum Line 1st-2nd, and Best Band Front 1st-2nd for each class. The Overall Award will be determined by taking the average of Music, Marching and General Effect scores with the Eagle Award going to IA-IIA and the Bulldog Award going to IIIA-IVA. There will also be a band booster spirit award in each class. CLASS Bands may enter either by High School League classification or by Horn Size determined by the following scale (not including percussion or guard line): A (40 or less), AA (41-55), AAA (56-69), AAAA (70 or more). TICKETS Admission will be $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children 7 12 years old, as well as senior citizens with proper identification. Children six and under will be admitted free. The Eagle/Bulldog Classic souvenir programs will be sold for $2.00 each. |
JUDGES The Eagle/Bulldog Marching Band Classic has a panel of six judges. Music: Mike Davis Cameramen will be Richard Reid - Encore Photos. APPLICATION FEE An application fee of $50.00 is required with the application to defray contest expenses and maintain a top quality event for your band. Make checks payable to Eagle/Bulldog Band Booster Club. DEADLINE Entry forms must be postmarked by Friday, September 15, 2000. Postmark determines the order of performance. |
